Product Description The Straight Zipbolt Slipfix is the perfect connector for attaching a handrail to the side of a newel post on a landing. The unique design offers several advantages over traditional methods. A hidden fixing within the joint, it has no need of covers or plugs to conceal its presence. You tighten the fixing using a 5mm hex bit in a cordless drill or a simple hex key. Once tightened it forms a very strong, safe joint. Coupled with the handy Zipbolt drilling jig, a handrail to newel post fixing is a cost effective and efficient solution. Kit contains two bolts, two keyhole plates, two gear housings, screws and a 5mm hex bit allowing you to attach the handrail on each side of the post.
