At the time of this writing the Walmart product description doesn’t mention that this is the model with built in Pinpoint GPS and a transducer for your bow mounted sonar (no more exposed wire down the shaft or mounting with hose clamps). The handheld wireless remote coupled with Pinpoint GPS makes this unit a game changer. One touch to anchor, jog 5′ left or right, heading lock, and cruise control. It makes zeroing in on the fish so much faster, and staying on them so much easier, that you won’t even believe how much more enjoyable fishing is. If you have late model Lowrance Sonar/GPS, then Motorguide is for sure the way to go. With a couple wiring kits that are well worth the extra cost you can control the Xi5 from your Lowrance unit. You can set it to follow contour lines on your chart at a precise speed no matter what the wind is doing. I’m very happy with the quality of the unit, no complaints at all. Very happy with ordering from Walmart as well, best price anywhere even before considering free shipping, whereas the other guys charge you extra for the size and weight of the unit.
